Case Study: Amway Arena and Orlando Magic
The Arena Task Force retained CSL to assess the market, financial, economic impact and funding potential of a renovated TD Waterhouse Centre. The Arena Task Force and the Magic expanded our analysis to include a comparative analysis of a renovated arena versus potential new arena. The Magic subsequently retained CSL to evaluate additional facility development options related to a renovation of TD Waterhouse Center or the development of a new arena, and the market demand for premium seating at either facility. In addition, CSL assisted the Magic in their initial negotiations with the City related to the prospective facility development options. Renovations made to TD Waterhouse Centre, currently known as the Amway arena, were completed in 2010.
