Tim Maloney
Regional Vice President

Tim Maloney brings a wealth of hospitality and business experience, combined with his passion for sports, to his role of Regional Vice President for Legends Hospitality.
Tim joined Legends in August of 2019 as Regional Operations Manager for Legends’ new accounts in Denver, Colorado. Responsible for the transition and profitable management of Ball Arena, DICK’S Sporting Goods Park and Paramount Theatre, Tim served as the senior manager in partnership with Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, overseeing management of Legal, Technology, Human Resources, Purchasing, Finance and Corporate Culinary.
Tim began his career in the sports industry working for MBNA America, where he spent over 10 years in various leadership roles, culminating as the Vice President of Sports Marketing. While at MBNA, he was instrumental in the launch of the National Football League Extra Points program, the first financial services sports loyalty program designed for avid NFL fans. Shortly after the launch of the NFL Extra Points program, Tim and his team launched the Major League Baseball Extra Bases program. Early in his MBNA America career, Tim managed facility planning and design as well as customer service call centers.
After his distinguished time at MBNA America, Tim joined the National Football League as the Director of NFL Direct Marketing. In this role he was responsible for direct to consumer businesses including the NFL Extra Points Program, NFL Fan Database, and sponsor activation.
Following his years at the NFL, Tim joined Delaware North Sportservice where he was responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in stadiums, ballparks, arenas, and entertainment complexes in the US. He also played an instrumental role in developing and introducing new concepts and service styles to concessions and premium operations.
Maloney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA., and a Master of Public Administration degree from the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University in Boston.
