Twitch – Partnership Sales Execution
Establish a unique, customized VIP experiential marketing platform for Twitch to differentiate itself within the competitive esports landscape with Las Vegas’s newest professional franchise in the Raiders and their new venue Allegiant Stadium which is opening in the summer of 2020
Twitch had never partnered with a professional sports team, while the Esports landscape was growing tremendously in Las Vegas, becoming the destination for esports events with new venues being developed such as Hyper X Arena. Also, the NFL controls the video content for all NFL games
Legends Global Partnerships leveraged Allegiant Stadium and city of Las Vegas, Live Entertainment Capital of the World, to direct Twitch to relocate their annual conference (TwitchCon) which draws 28,000+ people from San Diego to Las Vegas. They created a unique space within Allegiant Stadium called the Twitch Lounge which would showcase the Twitch experience to new audience as well as be utilized for private Twitch events and larger esport events that would be held in Las Vegas in the future. The team developed exclusive streaming options for Twitch to be able to cover the Raiders during practices, in the locker room and other off the field events. Finally, they orchestrated VIP experiences for Twitch users at the Raiders venues (Allegiant Stadium and Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center) that Twitch could leverage during other esports competitions in Las Vegas such as watching Raiders practice, meeting Raiders players and taking private tours of Raiders locker room and draft war room.
