Richard Porteus, Vice President of Eastern Region for Legends Hospitality, currently oversees food and beverage operations for Yankee Stadium, Prudential Center, One World Observatory, Raymond James Stadium and George M. Steinbrenner Field, among others, in addition to all hospitality operations across the Global Attractions division. Richard joined Legends in 2015 as General Manager for One World Observatory in New York City, where he was instrumental in preparing all operations for initial launch, inclusive of staffing, training, vendor management, sourcing and purchasing.

With over 30 years of hospitality, food and beverage experience, including executive leadership in hotels, executive conference centers, fine dining and event venues, Richard has a full scope of knowledge across all areas of the business. Before Legends, Richard began his journey at Marina Del Rey, before moving onto Tarrytown House, where he spent time as the Director of Food and Beverage and the Director of Operations. As he rose to executive leadership within Tarrytown House, he was assigned as task force leader to open a four- diamond resort in Daytona Beach, and a full-service hotel in Washington DC.

A New York native, Richard currently resides in the Bronx with his wife Sarah.
