Milwaukee Bucks Case Study


The Milwaukee Bucks partnered with MainGate (now Legends Global Merchandise) to be their eCommerce Merchandise Partner, with the goal of developing an easy to use, customer friendly and fully responsive website to enhance their fans shopping experience and develop and implement an integrated marketing plan.


In late November 2017, MainGate launched a dynamic and fully responsive eCommerce website for a customer friendly online shopping experience for their fans. This website not only allowed the orders to flow through MainGate’s robust ERP and Total Warehouse Logistic (TWL) fulfillment systems, but it was designed to also sync with the Bucks inventory system as a custom need for this project.


As a result, the first full month after launch, December 2017, MainGate doubled sale from the previous year (December 2016) with 80% less SKUs available online, increased the previous conversion rate, lowered the previous abandoned cart rate and increased their mobile shopping by 63%. Continuing through the second year, sales have grown by 143%.
